SEGA has revealed more information about Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, which releases on Nintendo Switch™ 2 as a launch title.

The story starts in December of 1988. Within the vibrant district of Kamurocho, Tokyo, numerous organizations are mobilizing to seize control of a large-scale redevelopment project.

However, a tiny tract with an unidentified owner, dubbed the Empty Lot, is all it takes to throw these plans into disarray. The struggle over this meager plot of land soon escalates into a major conflict involving powerful yakuza organizations from both the east and west.

As one era draws to a close, the stage is set for two legends to carve out their legacies.
